    dolls from dab and they also get a handful of hemlock and put them on a string to make a necklace. Boys also buy dull wire to make dulls to catch rabbits and hares. They get a bit of a branch of ash and drive a nail through it and bore a hole in it. They cut a small piece out of the top of it and make a whistle. They get a turnip & paint the nose eyes and mouth like a person for the head of a dab man. All those toys are still being made. Those home made toys are easy to break.
