    the school district. They are called "The Footsteps". There are no traditions or stories told about fords. People gather together at a crossroads to pitch and toss pence. There is a Mass path in Ballinabul along which the people long ago went to Mass at the Mass rock. The grass is growing on it now. It is not a very long path.
