    The cove of Laugh-na-hu. I often heard people say that the cove of Laugh-na-hu got its name because there is a river running into a rock and it called the cove of Laug- a-hu.
    The curragh got its name because it is a little wet field and is called the curragh.
    Corrign-cor got its name because long ago there was supposed to have been a land slide and it carried all the rocks down of the mountain and Corrigeen -cor got its name in this way
