    vice for holding the hot irons and many others. On some forges there is a door the shape of a horse- shoe, others have a a square door. There are many things which a blacksmith can make such as, a grate a tongs and several others kinds if iron things. Some people say that the water which comes out of a forge there is a cure in it for the cold.
    On the long winter nights all the old men of the district gather into the forge and they sit around the big fore telling stories. In frosty weather the blacksmiths
