Snipe builds in bogs

Water hen " on ground beside a lake or river
Starlings build in eaves of houses
Swallow build " " " "+ in barns.
The old nests serve for several years.
The Swift builds as the swallows do.The parent birds sit for three weeks + sometimes for four on the eggs.
Boys are told that they will never get to Heaven if they rob birds' nests.When Swallows fly high it is a sign of fine weather and if they fly low it omens a bad spell.When seagulls + curlews give loud cries at night it omens bad weather.(continues on next page)- Collector
