  2. A Drowning.
    Long ago the poor people had to go to Drumshambo for their good and they used to go on a boat as it was a nearway to the town.
    One Xmas-Eve they were going for the Xmas-goods, and when they were coming home the boat sank and all were drowned.
    It appears that there was lime in the boat, and it bore a hole in the bottom of the boat, and the water got in, and tugged the boat over, and it is said that one of the bodies floated on top of the water.
