  2. 2. A second hedge school in the same towland was situated along the old Road.
    The Teacher's name was Sheerin.
    He received a shilling per month Salary. He went home with one of the scholars every night. He was supported free.
    He taught Irish & a little English. The only book he used was a Spelling Book.
    He wrote on flag with shank of clay pipe.
