    for weeks and the potatoes left undug.
    Some of the Crummy boys told the trick in a secret to a young lady in Cornabrone. In a short time the story was circulated, so the men all returned to their work and removed the blank paper from their spades. It was on Christmas eve they finished the digging of potatoes that year.
