    12. It was the custom not to carry a spade or a fork in or out of a house on your shoulder because they say you would never grow.
    13. The old people say it was not right to put an umbrella over your head within in a house that you would never grow another inch.
    14. The people used to put an iron in with the clutch so that the thunder would not kill the birds or rot the eggs.
    15. The people long ago would not let out money on a Monday because they would be letting out more or less every day.
    16. The people used to say when you would be talking of anything you should say God Bless them or if you didn't that thing might (die) sick and die.
    17. Before the people used to cut their hair they used to throw salt on their head.
    18. Every Novembers night all the people make "cally" for the "pooky" for fear he would come in.
