    Whooping cough. The cure for it is to take a small drop of rum and to keep warm.
    Heavy cold. The cure for it is to boil some buttermilk and meal together and boil it well and drink it and go to bed for a few days.
    Warts. The cure for it is to rub castor-oil on it a few times and it would be better then.
    Tooth-ache. The cure for it is to take medicine.
