   car coming after him. As it was passing it stood for him to get in. The driver was dressed in black with white cuffs an collar and a tall hat. He drove him in to the town of Oughterard and the car stood there to let him out. There was a smell of cold clay on the car. When he looked back at the car it looked like a dog and the driver looked like his own brother who had died long years ago. This car is called the Couch bour and it is always heard in Cregg before a person dies.

   They also leave the door open so that if Our Lady were passing she would see the light and she would go in
   On Saint Stephens day a number of men would go around, they are called
