    got its name from a wood in it long ago but it was cut down. Curacáin na laoigh got its name from young calves that were there long ago. Córan Síothchan is so called long ago there was a fight between the Irish and English and in that field they made peace. Guirt an líon there was flax growing in this field long ago.
