    The old people have a great many cures for sickness and diseases. There is an herb that grows in the land that poisons cattle, it is called "larks spun".
    There is an other herb that poisons sheep, it is a small green plant and it grows on the mountain.
    Thistles and docking leaves grow in good land.
    Long ago the people boiled the Rileóg for to cure man and beast, it is a small green plant that grows in the bog.
    There is a cure in dandelion for "liver" its a yellow flower.
