One evening Dan Stack went into Newtown for flour with an ass and car. When he was coming home he went into Tom Stack's field kicking football with a few more men. He was not long in the field when a lorgadán came out of the kiln, and he was dressed in togs and football shoes and he wanted to get a kick out of the football, but they were in dread to give him the ball so they began to run.
