    When a person died in a house the bed clothes were folded back; then when the corpse was cold it was washed.

    the fingers. A bunch of flowers was put at each side of the head and another below the hands.
    All the people would kneel down and say the rosary for the dead. A small table was put at the right side of the corpse. Five candles were lighted then. A wake in due respect was held.
    The priest was brought to the house the next morning, and mass was read for the deceased. At one o'clock the corpse was coffined, and taken to the cemetry. The chairs (was) were turned upside down
