- My grand-father told me a lot of old cures the people had long ago.(1) If a person had a wart and when crossing a wall found water in a stone without looking for it and dipped the wart in this water for nine Tuesdays and after a few days the wart would disappear.(2) If there were seven sons in one family and the seventh one would be able to cure any kind of a disease.(3) If a person had a boil and if he washed it for nine Tuesdays where four waters meet, it would get healed.
