- My Grand-father told me that the people long ago had days called the cross days of the year.
He said that the only cross day he knew of was the 28th of December. The reason they held this day as a cross day was because on that day King Herod put the holy Innocents to death, and even up to the present they look upon this day as a cross day.
Some people do not begin any work on that day because they say that there would be a curse on it. The people also had certain days that they used to plant crops, but my Grand-father said that(continues on next page)- Collector
