- There are six forges in this parish. The names of the Smiths who own those forges are John Dolly, John Ruane, Patrick Ruane, Patrick MacDonagh, Malachy Ruane and Peter Dolly.
Those Smiths fathers and grandfathers had this trade for many years. Two of those forges are slated and there is a window and a door in each of them.
