    In Lehenagh fair village, theres great talk of tillage,

    When bruise he did hear it those boys they did fear it,
    And to stick to the ferret they were much inclined.

    But on a cold winters day without any delay,
    Bruise came along and he near out of his mind,
    He said the ferret is mine or do you decline,
    To give him up unto me but before very long,
    The ferret was gone and him they never will see.
