    a blessed well in Cappagh. It is called Saint Brendan's well. People make stations around the well. There is a golden cup beside the well. Every one who makes a station drinks some of the water. Once the cup was stolen and another cup of the same kind was got. There is a large flag near the well. Saint Brendan once knelt beside the well and the track of his knees are still to be seen on the flag. There is no fish in it. The well is situated in the middle of a
