  1. Mermaids reside on a muddy beech. They have a head like a woman but a body like a fish. If they are struck by anything got from the earth they are captured.
Once upon a time a man was walking on a beech and he saw a mermaid sitting on a rock. The mermaid was combing her hair at that time. The man struck it with a stone and then it was captured. The man having no compassion for it killed it. The months rolled by but the deceased haunted the man who got terror stricken and collapsed.
