They stole the pot of gold and covered up the hole again as if nothing had happened.
    The miser came as usual, innocent of what had happened, to his treasure. At last he saved another pound and he resolved to bury that also, so he brought the necessary implements that very night and dug down in quest of the pot, rejoicing at
