    a few families who rear sheep onthe local mountains of Sheemore and Sheebeg and send the wool to Foxford Woolen Mills in exchange for tweets etc. The types of cloth used are tweeds serge, gaberdine, Corduroy was very much worn particularly by the farmers for every day use, but isscarcely ever worn now a days.
    The only spinning wheel for wool I ever saw is in the possession of Mrs Doherty Keshcurrigan and as far as is known is the only one in the locality.
