father and they would settle the match and arrange the day of the wedding. The people usually get married in the bride's parish and after they come from the chapel they have dancing and singing in the Bride's house.
Boys who were not asked to the wedding come with veils on there faces and dance and sing and the people give them porter and whiskey. They also go to the town for a drive. Before cars were out they went on horse-bach. The bride and groom sat on the one horse. The bride sat behind the groom. At night there was the dragging home.
