   Lord be thy branch, Lord be thy flower, sweet Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, that you may take me under your protection this present night and day coming on.. These were told to me by Bernard Toole, Corrick, Dromod, Co Leitrim.

   When getting up in the morning. These are some of the prayers which were said by the old people. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ crucified I arise bless me O Lord defend and govern, and keep me, and after this short and miserable pilgrimage bring me to everlasting life. Amen. These are usually said at bed-time. As I lay on my right side I pray to god to be my guide. And I die before I walk, I pray to God my soul to take. These were told to me by Charles Foley, Aughamore, Dromod, Co. Leitrim
