When there are black clouds in the sky it is the sign of rain and when the are rolling fast it is the sign of showers if there are white clouds in the sky in Winter it is the sign of snow.
The old rhyme say's a rainbow in the morning is a sheperds warning and a rainbow at night is the shepherd's delight it is not a good sign to a rainbow in the sky before mid day but it is said it is not a bad sign to see one in the evening, a rainbow in the sky at any time is the sign of showery weather.
