  1. Cornee fort is a round circle of trees.
    It is supposed that fairies lived in it long ago.
    Cornee fort is situated about one mile from Mohill.
    There are two ways of approach to it from the town. One, by the Convent lane leading into Cornee Cog and up to the fort. The other by Cornee lane which goes directly to the fort.
    Like all forts, it stands on top of a high hill and is surrounded by a deep drain. There is a tradition connected with them that in the time
