    One day about six years ago my father went to make a drinking pond for the cattle in the pasture field.
    While he was digging he discovered a chain which was down about six feet in the ground and was covered with stones and mud. This chain must have been hidden under the ground for a very long time as it was rusty and nearly gone bad owing to old age.
    This chain was about six feet long and one inch wide but it was of no use to anyone. Part of this chain is still to be had at our hous
