  2. Local Craft - Spinning

    Spinning, weaving and dyeing are now much practised by students of technical classes and by some old people around my district.
    The first thing to be done when a person intends to spin is to get the wool from the sheep, then wash it if necessary and dry it.
    Next it should be teased. This is done to take out any dirt that may remain in the wool and also to make it fluffy for spinning. The carding then takes place with a pair of carders to make it into rolls. Some oil may be be used to moisten the wool and to
