- Long long ago there lived a King in Ireland who adverized his propardy and his daughter to anyone who brought him a parcel, a parcel containg three apples. Thousands and thousands tried it but it was a failure. A wealthy gentleman's son saw the advertisement contuing(?) so long on the paper. As he had two other brothers he said what he could do about the Kings daughter and his property. He did as all his fellow comrads did. He did not tell the truth. The advertisement was three apples. He plucked his his three apples and put them in a parcel and started off to the Kings palace.When he reached within three hundred yards(continues on next page)
