Ar an leathanach seo

  1. This well and field is on the east of the road through the Townland of Gortinure. This field and well now belong to Tom Browne of Gortinure. The names of this and other fields in his land are given by his daughter Maura Browne.
    Gusty's field and well are called so because they were owned by Gusty Dobson a man who lived there but who has died long ago.
    Rogan's fields are so called because they belonged to Mary Rogan before we bought them
    Mac Hugh's hill is so called because we gave the grass of it to John Mc Hugh.
    John Mac Hugh died a few years ago
    The lime kiln garden is so called because there was a lime kiln in it at one time
    Jenny's hill is so called because it belonged to Jenny Doyle before we got it Jenny's Lane is the lane that goes by where her house was.
