When you see the new moon stoop down without removing your gaze off the moon and lift what ever you meet first and say "what I see may grow and what I rub may go." While the moon is getting bigger the warts will be getting smaller.
A cure for a calf with a colic.
If a calf has a colic get soot and mix it with turpentine put it into a bottle and give it to the calf. Soot and buttermilk does equally well. The soot absorbs the gases.

If you have a bleeding cut get a cob-web leave it on the cut and the cut will stop bleeding
