    There is no such clergyman
    By Birth, and Education
    He is a gentleman
    His sympathy, and energy,
    Is always with the cause,
    And his patriotic eloquence,
    For him has gained applause,
    Fr.O Rourke, and Fr. Brady,
    Are clergymen of fame,
    And Fr. Edward McDonnell
We can never forget his name
    Those noble hearted clergymen
    Who speeched upon that day,
The time is fast approaching , boys!
No cent we'll have to pay,
Erin as she ought to be,
    Grand, glorious, and free,
    Parnell and Davitt,
    Will gain her liberty,
Each man has got a notice,
And it shortly will be seen,
    We'll have our Nation's Parliament,
    Again in College Green
    Our greatest thanks are given,
To each and every one. But none to Ballinagleeragh,
Or to deceitful Glan. If ever they come near us,
    They will mind for evermore,
For they are sure to be insulted
    By the boys of Ballinamore
