    still and run over a second thime. Then we have the real stuff.
    The still consists of a head, body and arm. The worm goes through a barrel filled with cold water called the cooler. Poteen is known to old distillers as "wash" "potale" and "grains".
    Wash is the fermented liquor before distillation. Potale is the first run of singlings. "Grains" the refuse after the barrels are empty for distillation.
