The next day I went to Father Briody Ligga[?] and told him the story. He said it was very likely something evil and gave me holy water to shake around me if I saw it again.
I did not go out late for a long time after this for I felt very nervous and every thing that stirred in the ditches I looked to see was the white thing coming after me again but Thank God it did not return.- Informant
