  1. Erysiphelas.
    The cure of this disease is handed down from male to female - then to male etc. Many people in this area still profess to cure this disease.
    You must bring with the patient a cup of unsalted butter. The cure must be effected in the moon in which you contracted the disease; if not you must wait a full year until that moon comes again (13 moons).
    When you enter the house you must immediately inform the people of the house of your business.
    Whilst carrying out the cure she ejects every other occupant of the house - even the cat.
    No cure can be effected if once the knife of a surgeon has been in operation as the poison in that case is driven throughout.
