    the snail in a bush and while the snail would be decaying the warts would be going off his hand.
    Holy wells were visited for many ailments. Prayers were said and rounds were paid and people used to get rid of the ailments very quickly.
    Sore eyes were cured by taking the person to a holy well and there washing the sore eyes with the water.
    If there were seven sons in a family the seventh son is supposed to have healing power. In fact he is sometimes called "doctor".
