- (continued from previous page)his army were coming on horseback from Tarbert Island. When the priest heard that he was coming up, he went into a house and asked for a room and got it. The housemaid was looking in the keyhole and she saw the priest taking off his hat and a while after, his coat. When he had them off, the General at the Island fell dead. When they were taking up his remains, the flesh used to come with them in bits. Four horses could not draw his remains. The same priest went down to the Island and prayed that his remains could be removed and they were removed from the Island.
