at the well. She went off the next day and paid the rounds. She came home and the next day she found herself getting better. She was getting better day by day until she was quite well again. Then she said that she would put a statue of Saint Michael at the well and she did so. She is the only woman I have ever heard of being cured at the well.
The statue was erected on the 7th of September 1923. This woman is now an old woman, being eighty-three years of age. She still resides at Gortinare.
