Long ago there lived a poor widow who had three sons. After a few years the eldest son decided to go and seek his fortune. When he was going he took all the best clothes and nearly all the food out of the house and started off Towards mid-day he sat down to eat his dinner. when a little robin flew up, and asked him to throw him the crumbs. The young man refused and hunted the little bird away Shortly after he was emloyed by a magician to plough a big field, when up out of the ground came a big serpent which devoured him.
