    Once upon a time there was a man making poteen in Farrenmorgan.

    (continued from previous page)
    house lit up, and the horse drinking the poteen out of a big basin, and the man, drinking out of a golden cup. The man went and told the other men, but they waited there until the man and the horse left. After a while the horse came out, and the man and the door closed after them. Every night the horse and the black man would come and drink the poteen, and after that the men could never make poteen.
