- Crooked Attorney. Any number of players can take part in the game. The palyers were arranged in two divisions. The "attorney" or judge would ask a question to any of the players. That person was not to answer but the one opposite was to answer in his place. If they answered out of turn, they payed a forfeit such as a pencil or handkerchief. To redeem the forfeit, they had to do something usually, laugh in one corner of the house cry in another, dance in(continues on next page)
