- (continued from previous page)In the village of Tullyvilla, near Cloonacool which is in the Parish of Tubbercurry there are two lakes called the Tullyvilla Lakes.
One of them is much larger than the other so on that account they are named the Big Lake and the Little Lake.
Before the time of the famine a giant eel was seen time after time in the Little Lake and every-body was horrified at her fience size. She came up on dry land when ever she wished and seemed not to be affraid of any-body.
When the famine came all the people of the place clamoured with the huger so at last a crowd of men made up their minds to kill the eel and then she(continues on next page)- Collector
