    It is also believed that there is a mermaid in this lake. A mermaid is a strange creature that is supposed to live in the water half a fish and half a lady. One day this mermaid came up out of the water and ran into Éamonn's house. She ran up to the room and all the chairs and furniture in the room started to dance.
