- (continued from previous page)If a horse or a pony falls accidentally and cuts its knees it will come against that horse or pony afterwards in the sale because when the horse buyer sees or feels those marks he will think the animal is a stumbler. This is a cure to take away the marks. Burn an old shoe and mix the ashes of the old shoe with candle grease into a plaster and put up to the cut and after a while the marks will go and hair will come.
