pains of Hell or never fall into grievous mortal sin.
When rising out of bed in the morning the people said this prayer.
Hail and Blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born in the most pure Virgin Mary at mid-night in Bethlehem in piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe o my God to hear my prayer and grant my desires through the merits of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
There are four corners in my bed,
Four blesssed Angels o'er my head
One to guard me one guide me.
And two to carry my soul to Heaven
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,
God bless this bed that I lie on.
