Fearann na Mánac, hence the name of the road, "Farann Road".
The Abbey Road, which led to the Abbey is very old, as is also the "Mill Road" which led to a mill owned by Sir William Godfrey.
The Castlemaine, Killarney and Laune Roads are all new and are kept in good repair.
The Castlemaine Road leads directly to Tralee and winds around the foot of the Sliemish mountains.
The Killarney Road is the direct road to Killarney.
The Laune Road is a branch of the Killorglin Road and is often used in going to Killarney as the scenery along it is very beautiful.
