ship that went down outside of Maugherow. It belonged to Sir Robert who put some tenants out of their land and seven families were sent off in a free ship that he gave them to bring them to America to earn money, by the way. This was supposed to be only a trick of his to get rid of them for it was a very bad vessel and when the poor people were out only a short distance from their land it sank and they all were drowned.
