    Eliza is a great story-teller and singer. She is very light-hearted and can make fine jokes.
    Dress-making
    There is one very good dress-maker living near this place. Mrs. Foley is her name.
    She lives in Kilkat, Grange, Sligo. She makes clothes for the women and children around.
    How sorry everyone was when she was sick for a while a few months ago. She is as good as ever again and is working as hard as she can.
    Her work is very neat. She is a great hand at ladies' coats. She can even make trousers for men and can turn coats inside out when they get a bit worn.
    Shoe-making
    We have a fine show-maker in this place - Johnny Tivnan, Grange, Sligo.
    Mending shoes is his principal occupation.
    He has a machine as well as a last, a hammer, pincers, knife, wax and hemp, awls, leather, tacks and brads.
