The Lady especially was kind to the poor. And everyone got to like her.
Sir Henry succeeded Sir Robert and he was much the same as his father wanting great wealth. When people were not able to pay the rent to him he sent his bullocks to their lands to be fattened.
We are glad to see that all this is a thing of the past and the people now living around here are comfortable. At the cutting up of the lands the Seven Carthens were given back again to those living besides them.
